Dr. Timothy E. Simmons is a native of Winfield, Kansas and attended the United States Air Force Academy graduating in 1972 with a degree in Engineering Management. Dr. Simmons served five years in the United States Air Force (1972-1977) before entering The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1977. He graduated at the top of his class in 1980 and immediately entered the Oral and Maxillofacial surgical residency program at the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Simmons completed this specialty program in 1983 and has practiced Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in Bel Air and Abingdon, Maryland since 1985. This scope of surgery includes implant placement, extraction of teeth, third molar removal, dent alveolar and pre-prosthetic surgery, oral pathology, office sedation and IV anesthesia.
