EDUCATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION

• Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Management - United States Air Force Academy

  • Graduating in 1972 with a degree in Engineering Management. Dr. Simmons served five years in the United States Air Force (1972-1977)​

• Dental School - The Ohio State University

  • Graduating in the top 5 of his class, Dr. Simmons graduated in 1980 and entered into Oral Surgery Training. ​

• Oral Surgery Training - Georgetown School of Oral Surgery 

  • Graduating in 1983 from Oral Surgery Training, Dr. Simmons went on to work for a number of Oral Surgery Clinics before opening his own practice in Bel Air in 1985. ​

Devoted to continually expanding his knowledge base and skills, Dr. Simmons participates in continuing education courses throughout the year, through attendance at seminars, lectures, and meetings throughout the world.

 

PERSONAL LIFE

​

Dr. Simmons was born and raised in Winfield, Kansas, and is one of four children. He grew up playing a wide range of sports and went on to play football at the United States Air Force Academy.

​

Dr. Simmons has been married to his wife, Kathleen, since 1977. Together, they are the proud parents of four sons—Anthony, Marco, Giancarlo, and Luca—and loving grandparents to Anthony’s daughters, Madeleine “Millie” and Genevieve; Marco’s son, Luca; Giancarlo’s daughter, Katie; and Luca’s son, Tengis.

Outside of the office, Dr. Simmons enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. His interests also include golfing, and attending sporting events.
