Originally from Pennsylvania, Amy moved to Maryland in 1984 and graduated from C. Milton Wright High School. After spending time out West, she returned home following 9/11 to be closer to family and focus on serving others. With a background in event coordination and the restaurant and catering industry, she found her true passion in dentistry.

She has worked as a dental assistant for nearly 20 years and is thrilled to be back working with Dr. Simmons in a supportive role. She looks forward to welcoming you to Dr. Simmons' Oral Surgery Practice!

Having grown up in historic Bel Air, Dottie was raised within the St. Margaret Church and community. After graduating from Bel Air High School, she completed her dental assistant training at the Medix School. She also earned an Associate Degree in Art from Harford Community College.

Dottie has worked extensively in the dental industry as a manager and technical support specialist, and she was awarded Employee of the Year while providing both dealer and customer support at SoftDent. In 2016, she joined the support staff of Dr. Simmons.

Dottie enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren and loves being a spectator at their football, cheerleading, acting, and basketball activities.

Lisa has over 25 years of experience in the oral surgery field, serving as a dedicated oral surgeon’s assistant. She is deeply passionate about patient care and is committed to ensuring that every patient has the best possible experience at Dr. Simmons’ office. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her children, and attending country music concerts.

Rhonda brings a diverse professional background and a people-first approach to her role. Deeply rooted in the local community, she values the opportunity to live and work in the same county as the practice she serves. Rhonda is passionate about building strong relationships with both patients and colleagues and is committed to creating a welcoming, positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Before joining the team in 2025, Rhonda spent 30 years as a classroom teacher with HCPS and later managed a successful salon and spa. These experiences helped her develop strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine dedication to helping others feel supported and cared for. Outside of work, Rhonda is a proud mother of two daughters and a grandparent—roles that inspire her daily and keep her grounded in what matters most.

Jenn has over five years of experience in the dental industry and provides comprehensive support across the office, including front-desk reception, clinical assistance, billing, and insurance coordination. She also assists with surgical procedures when necessary. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three daughters and cheering on her favorite teams—the Eagles and Phillies.
