Dr. Simmons performs biopsies in his office. The biopsy results are usually disclosed within two weeks. Dr. Simmons will discuss the biopsy with you regardless of the results. 

If there is something which is concerning to Dr. Simmons, he will explain the treatment process and refer you to an oral surgeon who specializes in oral pathology.
